Se acabó la cumbre de la OTAN en Madrid, que ha dejado un cambio de paradigma histórico a nivel internacional pero también momentos muy llamativos y curiosos protagonizados por los líderes mundiales que acudieron a la capital de España.
Y especialmente en el Museo del Prado, donde uno de los que más focos atrajo fue el primer ministro británico, Boris Johnson.
Sobre todo cuando le vimos pasearse sólo por las salas de la pinacoteca contemplando entusiasmado las pinturas que pueblan las paredes del museo. Tiziano, Velázquez, Rubens...
Precisamente frente a Las Meninas de Velázquez se hicieron una foto de familia los líderes que acudieron a la cumbre de Madrid, que posaron con sus parejas, quienes las habían llevado.
Todos sonrientes, mirando a la cámara hasta que dan por finalizada la sesión de fotos. En ese momento, Johnson levanta los dos pulgares dando su aprobación y da una palmada.
Algo que el resto interpreta como un inicio de aplauso. Nada más lejos de la realidad, ya que Johnson se quedó ahí.
Pero Robert Abela, primer ministro de Malta, se pensó que sí y comenzó a aplaudir, a lo que le siguieron algunos de los demás líderes, aunque no todos con el mismo entusiasmo. Nótese cómo Erdogan, primer ministro turco, aplaude una vez incómodo sin saber si estábamos ante un claro aplauso grupal o, efectivamente, un involuntario aplauso iniciado por Johnson.
La escena, de la que muy pocos se percataron en el momento, la ha compartido el periodista Diego Moreno Bermejo en su cuenta de Twitter, haciéndose viral el momento, con miles de ‘me gusta’ y comentarios.
