El Gobierno de Ceuta asegura que la resolución de OTAN da "seguridad y confianza"
El presidente ceutí ha asegurado que el concepto estratégico de la Alianza “refrenda y refuerza al máximo nivel Ceuta está protegida por la OTAN".
El Gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta ha considerado este jueves que la resolución de la OTAN surgida de la cumbre de Madrid supone dar “seguridad y confianza”, tanto a la autonomía ceutí como a Melilla.
Así ha valorado este jueves el Gobierno de Juan Jesús Vivas (PP) en una nota el nuevo Concepto Estratégico de la OTAN, que se compromete a defender la integridad territorial de cada uno de sus socios, lo que garantiza el respaldo de la Alianza ante hipotéticas amenazas que pudieran sufrir Ceuta y Melilla.
Juan Jesús Vivas ha destacado que el concepto estratégico de la Alianza “refrenda y refuerza al máximo nivel lo que el Gobierno de la Ciudad ha venido defendiendo desde siempre, que es que Ceuta está protegida por la OTAN ante cualquier ataque, como cualquier otra parte del territorio nacional”.
Asimismo, el jefe del Gobierno autonómico ha afirmado que esta nueva situación “transmite seguridad y confianza y, por tanto, contribuye de manera positiva a las legítimas aspiraciones de estabilidad y desarrollo de Ceuta”.
El Gobierno ceutí ha acompañado el comunicado con el concepto estratégico suscrito por todos los Estados miembros en el que, expresamente, se dice que “nadie debe dudar de nuestra fuerza y determinación para defender cada centímetro del territorio aliado, preservar la soberanía y la integridad territorial de todos los aliados y prevalecer contra cualquier agresor”.
