El derbi de UEFA Champions League que comienza mañana a las 20:45 horas, no solo se disputará sobre el césped, también en los banquillo se librará un duelo particular. Por el lado del Atlético de Madrid, Diego Pablo Simeone puede presumir de salir ganador hasta la fecha en estos enfrentamientos desde que Carlo Ancelotti se hizo cargo del Real Madrid. Ya se han visto las caras once veces y la balanza se decanta para el argentino con cinco victorias.
Aunque los madridistas están teniendo serios problemas en sus partidos frente al Atleti (solo tres victorias con Carletto en el banco), los aficionados merengues quieren apelar a la final de la última Champions League. Tras un agónico encuentro, el equipo dirigido por el técnico italiano logró imponerse 4-1 logrando la ansiada décima Copa de Europa para las vitrinas del Santiago Bernabéu. Pero esta eliminatoria de Champions motiva muchísimo a los del 'Cholo'. Y es que ganar al Real Madrid en el Calderón supondría la mejor racha sin perder ante su eterno rival en sus 111 años de historia.
SEIS SIN PERDER
Además, esta temporada 2014/2015 está siendo proclive para los rojiblancos, que no sabe lo que es perder en sus seis partidos con los madridistas, algo que no sucedió el año pasado en el que el Real Madrid ganó en tres ocasiones, las únicas con Ancelotti en el banquillo.
En cuanto a nombres propios, parece que Cristiano Ronaldo debería ser uno de ellos. Sin embargo, el hombre de confianza para el entrenador de los 'merengues' es Gareth Bale. El galés es el futbolista que más minutos ha disputado en los derbis (522). Pero para Simeone, su mano derecha para estos partidos de máxima tensión es Diego Godín. El defensa uruguayo, infalible en el balón parado, ha disputado 540 minutos en los derbis de esta temporada.
